Autism Centred Trampolining
VOLUNTEERING
Get Involved
Do you have a child or young adult on the autism spectrum who needs to exercise, meet others, learn a new skill, socialise? Do they struggle to fit in with team sports, waiting their turn, short attention span? Tiggers could be just what they need!

Are you a parent or carer who feels isolated, reluctant to take your child to try a new group only to be judged yet again? How about one hour a week where your family can relax in a place with fewer rules and lots of things to keep children busy and parents more relaxed.....
JOINING TIGGERS
Volunteering at Tiggers
We always need volunteers, aged from 13 upwards.
They are the lifeblood of our organisation and we could not operate without them! Many of our volunteers are students seeking experience with children's charities or who want to be involved in setting up and running events and activities. We also welcome volunteers with skills such as musical ability and trampolining coaching. We also welcome back returning volunteers who may have been away at University or pursuing other opportunities.
Coaches
If you are already a qualified trampolining coach who wants to help out, learn more about coaching students with disabilities, or are working in another field and want to keep up with your coaching skills, WE NEED YOU! We have a waiting list and would love to be able to offer our services more often.
If you're a trampolinist of any ability who wants to upskill or keep up your fitness in exchange for some volunteering time, let us know!
Spotters
To help out around the trampolines on Sundays between 11:00 am and 3:30 pm and/or Wednesdays between 4 pm and 6:30 pm.
No previous experience is needed and it is not difficult to learn, we will teach you all you need to know!
DBS clearance is required for adult volunteers and the cost will be met by Blackpool Tiggers.
Qualified? Trained? You can be!
Our volunteers can receive certificated training such as:
British Gymnastics Coaching Level 1 and 2, Award Scheme coaching, Disability Add On, Safeguarding, Equity in Your Coaching, Time to Listen, Sports Coaching, First Aid Training, Manual Handling, Child Protection.

Should you wish to Join Blackpool Tiggers please with a brief outline about the person concerned, asking to be put on to our waiting list. We will reply to let you know we have received your message. If you want to have a look around and see what we do please email and this can easily be arranged.

Please be advised that this is a service for people on the autism spectrum, not the general public.

There is an annual membership fee plus subsidised weekly session fees. If you think you would be unable to pay this please contact us anyway, we can offer help and advice on grants you may be eligible to apply for.
